Motorola introduced the Motorola Edge 40 series smartphones, the Motorola Edge 40 in May, and the Motorola Edge 40 Pro in April. Now, after the launch of these two Edge 40 series devices, Motorola appears to be prepping up for the addition of a new handset in this lineup. The third device in the Edge 40 series is tipped to be the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, whose specification, as well as pricing was leaked a couple of days back. The smartphone was also spotted at Geekbench previously. The benchmark listing revealed that the device will be powered by Dimensity 1050 SoC.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo Colour Options Revealed
The video discloses that the upcoming Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a dual-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. The text beside the camera module reveals that the device will feature a 50MP primary camera. The device will have a punch-hole cutout at the centre of the display which will accommodate the selfie camera. The volume keys and the power button will be located on the right edge of the device. On the bottom side, the device will have a speaker grille, microphone, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM card slot. The smartphone will debut in Black Beauty, Caneel Bay, and Soothing Sea colour options.
The previous leak reveals that the Motorola Edge 40 Neo will feature a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. As confirmed by the Geekbench listing, the smartphone will be powered by Dimensity 1050 chipset. Furthermore, the device is tipped to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As for the software, we can expect the smartphone to boot Android 13 out of the box.
As mentioned above, the device will be featuring a 50MP primary camera. The secondary camera on the smartphone could be 13MP. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the Edge 40 Neo is expected to feature a 32MP camera. The smartphone also could have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. A 5,000mAh battery could be equipped with the device which no doubt will offer fast charging support. The device is expected to go official on September 15. It could be priced at around €399 (roughly Rs 35,900) as per the previous leak.
