Google is gearing up for its mega-launch event early next month. The search engine giant is all set to unveil the Pixel 8 series smartphones the Pixel 8 Pro and the Pixel 8 on October 4th. In addition, the company will also launch the Google Pixel Watch 2. Most of the details of these three products have already leaked including the price, official renders, and full specifications.Â
Now, with just a few days left to the launch, folks over at The Tech Outlook have given us a look at the new colour variants of the Pixel Buds Pro, which is also expected to launch on October 4th. The Buds Pro were launched back in 2022 and earlier this month, Pixel Buds Pro’s Porcelain and Sky Blue Colour options were tipped to launch. Now, we have the first look at the new colourways.
Pixel Buds Pro To Get Two New Colour Options
As of today, Google premium TWS, the Pixel Buds Pro is available in Coral, Lemongrass, Fog and Charcoal colour options. In addition to this, two new colour options will be introduced. One will be called Porcelain and the other will be called Bay Blue, which is a slightly different moniker than the previously tipped Sky Blue colour option.
The Porcelain colour option looks similar to the white one, but from the images, it looks like it will have a warmer/darker tone. However, the case of the TWS is shown in the white colour option only while the inner parts of the buds remain black. On the other hand, the Bay Blue variant will be the first Blue shade variant in the lineup. Apart from the change in the paint job, the specs, features and price of the audio device are expected to remain the same.
Pixel Buds Pro: Features, Specs, and Price
The Google Pixel Buds Pro comes with an in-ear style fit and are packed with an 11mm driver setup. The Pixel Buds Pro offers active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as transparency mode. On the inside, the TWS comes with a 6-core audio chip custom-built chip that runs Google-developed algorithms and is tuned by Google’s audio engineering team.
In terms of battery life, on a single charge, the Buds Pro are rated to last up to 11 hours without ANC and up to 7 hours with ANC on. With the included case, these buds can last up to 31 hours. Further, these also come with built-in Google Assistant with support for real-time translation in 40 languages. As for the controls, there are touch controls including a single tap, swipe to adjust the volume level, and touch and hold for ANC.
Other features include wireless charging, beamforming mics, multipoint connectivity, Type-c charging port, IPX4 rating for buds, IPX2 rating for case, volume EQ, and Bluetooth 5.0, touch control. The Pixel Buds Pro was launched for Rs 19,990 in India and for US $ 199.99 in the USA. We are expecting the same pricing for the new colour options.
