Leroy World Quest (Complete Walkthrough Guide)

As far as lengthy World Quests go in Genshin Impact, the Leroy World Quest falls just short of Sumeru’s World Quests and is more akin to a lengthy commission that players can complete. Leroy is an NPC in Genshin Impact’s region of Fontaine and his family certainly carries a talent for the dramatic.

You should note that the quest can only be unlocked after speaking to Euphrasie at the Steambird, an NPC more commonly known for keeping track of players’ reputation levels in Fontaine. Players should note that to unlock the Leroy World Quest, they will have to complete the Questioning Melusine and Answering Machine Quest and Impromptu Poem of the Crimson Dawn.

Leroy Sub-Quests

Leroy: Dying Flash

Genshin Impact - Leroy World Quest Location

The Dying Flash is the first in the sub-quest chain and quite easy to follow. You can trigger the quest by speaking to Euphrasie at the Steambird and then head over to where Benoit Leroy is. He can be found in the Court of Fontaine: Vasari Passage, standing in front of his house. He will request you to help him complete some chores, and you will have to complete them without scaring the cat Nana.

Genshin Impact - Leroy: Dying Flash Chores

  1. Clean the mud on the tile first
  2. Place some fish for the cat in the bowl.
  3. Head over to the strange boxes and clean the mud there.

You use either a Hydro character or an Anemo character to clean up the mud.

Leroy: Firing Squad

Each quest going forward unlocks automatically after 1 in-game day, so players have the choice to change their timing. You will have to speak to Benoit again and then go around the house cleaning up the marked spots. This quest is simple, as you only need to speak to Benoit again to complete it.

Leroy: Under Guard

Genshin Impact - Leroy: Under Guard

You can stay in the stay spot and change the in-game time once more to the next day to automatically unlock this quest. You will have to speak to Molli this time, who will then ask you to once again help clean up the area around the house. There will be 2 stains within the vicinity that will need to be cleaned, and you can use Hydro or Anemo as usual.

After doing so, just speak to Molli once again to complete the quest.

Leroy: High Noon

Once again, adjust the time to 1 in-game day and speak to Pip, who is now at the entrance. You will have to find Bracari’s General Store Receipt, which is towards the back of the house. Head left towards the cat and then take a sharp right to reach the back of the house. There will be two shining spots that contain the receipts required.

Genshin Impact - Snodgrass and Athos Location

Afterward, you will need to head to the underground area of Fleuve Cendre and talk to Snodgrass and Athos. Snodgrass can be found northeast of the teleport waypoint in Fleuve Cendre, and Athos can be found near the pipeline south of the teleport waypoint in Fleuve Cendre.

Leroy: Hangman’s Noose

Genshin Impact - Leroy: Hangman's Noose

If you change the in-game time once again, a cutscene will be triggered once you stand in front of Leroy’s house. This is a pretty short quest, as after investigating the wooden box behind the house, the quest will conclude.

Leroy: Queen of the Night’s Aria

Genshin Impact - Leroy: Queen of the Night’s Aria

After completing the fifth sub-quest, the sixth one will automatically unlock; however, players will need to adjust the in-game time by 2 days and interact with the shining spot near the cat. The cat can be found on the left side of the house near some Bulle Fruit.

You’ll then have to follow the quest guidance and ride the Navia line to find out where Benoit Leroy has gone. In the storyline, it is heavily suggested to choose the option “Let them take care of it. I won’t interfere”. However, you will receive an additional reward called “Autumn’s Gift” if you pick the option “I won’t stand by and watch them hurt Benoit.”

Genshin Impact - Autumn's Gift

This gift can be collected from an underwater bunker in the Erinnyes Forest. You can access the bunker by teleporting to the waypoint west of the Weeping Willow of the Lake and heading northwest. If you have already unlocked the hidden bunker, drop into the well and pick up the gift on the table.

Genshin Impact - How To Get To The Hidden Bunker (Erinnyes Forest)

If you haven’t unlocked the well yet, head to this body of water and dive beneath to the teleport portal. Once you enter it, you will be teleported inside the bunker. To solve the puzzle of opening the gate, simply follow the order below to operate the switches:

  1. Interact with the message on the table
  2. Operate the switch near the chair
  3. Operate the switch in the water body you teleported to
  4. Operate the switch near the fire
  5. Operate the switch near the wall of the well

This will open the gate above, and you can claim the Hydroculus before heading out.

Leroy: Beautiful Friends

Genshin Impact - Leroy: Beautiful Friends

Beautiful Friends is the final sub-quest in this World Quest series and can also be unlocked after adjusting the in-game time by 1 day. You merely have to talk to Molli and end the saga behind the Leroy family.

Completing this mission rewards Travelers with a hidden achievement known as A Human Drama. In addition to that, the Leroy World Quest Series carries a total of 150 primogems and 18,050 Mora that Travelers can claim in total upon completion.
