Motorola, back in April this year, introduced the Edge 40 series smartphones – the Moto Edge 40 Pro and Moto Edge 40. The company is expected to launch another smartphone under the Edge 40 lineup – the Moto Edge 40 Neo. To those unaware, the Moto Edge 40 Neo with MediaTek Dimensity 1050 was recently spotted on the Geekbench.
In a new development, tipster Paras Guglani has shared the Moto Edge 40 Neo design renders, colour options, key specifications, and pricing. The Moto Edge 40 Neo, as the name suggests, will be a more affordable option under the Edge 40 lineup. Let us take a closer look at the Moto Edge 40 Neo leaked specifications and design renders.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo design renders, shared by Paras, showcase the upcoming handset in light green and black colour options. The official marketing names for these colour variants could be Caneel Bay and Black Beauty which were earlier revealed by MySmartPrice exclusively.
The design renders once again confirm that the Moto Edge 40 Neo will be equipped with a dual-rear camera setup which will include a 50MP primary shooter. The high-resolution sensor on the device is said to be accompanied by a 13MP lens which could add ultra-wide-angle functionality to the device. As per leaks and rumours, the upcoming Edge series smartphone will be equipped with a 32MP front camera.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo, as revealed in the leaked renders, will feature a curved display with a centered punch-hole notch. Previous leaks and rumours suggest that it will be a pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution. The device might also feature support for NFC connectivity.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo is tipped to come equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. It is said to support 68W fast charging over a Type-C charging port. The device will likely weigh 170 grams and will feature an IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant. The Moto Edge 40 Neo will boot Android 13 out of the box. It is said to launch in a 12GB + 256GB configuration option.
Tipster Paras Guglani hasn’t clearly specified the Moto Edge 40 Neo pricing, but he claims that the handset will cost more than £290 (approx Rs 30,200).
