Following teasers of an upcoming collaboration with MM6 Maison Margiela and a potential Metal Gear Solid collaboration potentially on the way, Supreme‘s releases its full Spring/Summer 2024 collection for the masses. Previously teasing a Futura x Supreme collaboration for the new season, it appears that the joint effort makes an appearance in this collecion. Just like clockwork on the second week of February, Supreme is dropping its SS24 line, right on time to capture the shift in weather and subsequently, a change in wardrobe for the new season.
As per usual, Supreme’s SS24 collection continues to feature its essential seasonal pieces that include Jackets, Sweatshirts, Tops, Tees, Bottoms, Hats, Bags and Accessories. This time around, the collection continues to capture the brand’s iconic logos and features graphic heavy and vibrant renditions of some of the brand’s most staple silhouettes. With a highlight on outerwear, Supreme’s outerwear are quintessential to the transitional Spring season, arriving in oversized vintage-washed leather jackets, GORE-TEX windbreakers, letterman jackets and knitwear.
When it comes to comfort and style, Supreme has the formula down. This season brings forward new iterations of the classic varsity jacket, while other signature monikers are plastered on button-down short sleeve shirts, hoodies, windbreakers and denim jackets. Camo, plaid and tree prints make their way into the collection, with layering at the forefront for combined knitwear and light outerwear pieces. Various renditions of the Supreme logo make an appearance, ranging from subtle to loud.
Supreme’s SS24 collection will see its regular weekly releases, starting with its first drop arriving on February 15, and in Japan on February 17. Take a full look at the seasonal range below.
Supreme gears up for the transition from the cooler weather to warmer temperatures, with a selection of outerwear pieces for SS24. Included in the mix are classic jackets from Supreme’s long-time and frequent collaborators like Schott NYC and GORE-TX. From leather chore jackets to windbreakers, to collared-bomber jackets, fleece pull-overs and trench coats, the seasonal collection offers a broad range of selections. Oversized leather and denim jackets with a vintage-inspired wash are main highlights alongside Supreme-emblazoned varsity jackets, puffer jackets and branded hooded bombers and track jackets.
Supreme adds its vintage ’90s flairs to the shirts collection, keeping silhouettes classic. Plaid button-ups as well as striped ones riddle the collection alongside various washes of denim including one that is a chore-like zip-up shirts. Prints take over the shirts portion, featuring snake prints, mosaic graphics as well as an all-over Supreme branded shirt. Vibrant oranges and pink colors are prominent in the form of plaid pattern or a solid hue shirt.
Coziness informs the selections of sweaters available this Spring. Staying true to a youthful aesthetic, the season puts forward a selection of vibrant colored sweaters, including the staple red and yellow. Continuing to be playful with their stand-out sweaters, the collection sees a bright teal knit sweater featuring contrasting stars around the collar as well as one featuring bunny graphics. Reaching back to the ’90s, Supreme offers an argyle knit zip-up vest along with one that features a bright paisley pattern. Other staples like the classic branded Supreme sweaters arrive in black and grey while a speckled cardigan makes an appearance for variation in knitwear.
The Supreme t-shirt collection continues to be expensive, arriving in an array of selections including a box tee that features the unmistakable font from Futura. Tees arrive in a selection of bold colors like in red, blue, neon yellow and of course, classic black. One of the t-shirts gives a nod to the famous footballer Diego Maradona. An image of him from 1986 on the field with a “No Drugs” t-shirt makes its way to a Supreme tee as a primary graphic. Going back to its skateboarding roots, another t-shirt features a black and white image of youngsters skating in the streets.
Tops continue to take an athletic stance, from baseball jerseys to basketball and football ones. Continuing to give Argentine football legend Diego Maradona a spotlight, the athlete is highlighted in what seems like a spray-painted graphic onto a soccer jersey. Both soccer and American football jerseys are represented with key Supreme badges all around. Supreme continues to showcase its take on classic styles, giving conventional and unique references to sports across the world. Other tops include one that highlights the work of MDH Keane, an artist known for her big-eyed paintings. Staple tops carrying both understated and exaggerated renditions of the Supreme motif continue to adorn the tops.
Sweaters and hoodies remain some of Supreme’s most popular items. From subtle branding to more outlandish iterations, the collection has pieces for the subtle and die-hard fan. The collection of sweaters arrive in a wide range of colors, from bold reds and varsity yellow to subtle navy and black. Graphics adorn the sweaters, including those that appear to take stylings from graffiti and collage artists. Sports themes remain prevalent as oversized hoodies evoke an athletic aesthetic like the varsity-inspired brown Chargers sweater.
Supreme has a pair of bottoms for every occasion, with some even matching the aforementioned selection of outerwear. GORE-TEX and Umbro collaborations highlighted the outerwear collection, as they do for Supreme Fall 2023 pants. With an athletic and comfort focus, sweatpants are available alongside hybrid puffer pants. Weather-ready GORE-TEX pants are for the adventurous wearer looking for a pair of versatile to outdoorsy trousers. Multi-pocketed cargos, denim jeans and sports track pants with Supreme branding are also thrown into the mix of bottoms for the season.
Supreme has a pair of shorts for every occasion too. Continuing to keep on with the sporty vibe, Supreme shorts are fit for all sports, taking inspiration from basketball, soccer and swim short aesthetics. The styling of the basketball shorts come in mesh and also feature a striped pattern, similar to that of the ’90s jersey uniform. All the shorts come in an assortment of branded graphics and in various vibrant colors.
As usual, Supreme has also put together a wide assortment of hats for SS24 with collaborative releases and New Era team-ups. Styles include camp caps, 5-panels, 6-panels, trucker hats, crushers, and bucket hats in a variety of material constructions.
Supreme has also put together a wide range of bags for SS24 arriving in many different styles and materials. Styles include the classic backpack, duffel bags and everyday bags like cross body satchels. Some bags like the oversized tote feature a new weaving technique while other bags arrive as waterproof dry bags featuring the brand’s label.
This time around, Supreme accessories many collaborative pieces. Both in the functional and fun categories, some stand out pieces include a Ducati bike collaboration along with a helmet. Continuing in the sports area, dodgeballs with the branded moniker are also available as are more mundane items like a bucket, foldable picnic set and a playful toucan lamp. Supreme also collaborated with Mac Tools for a trolley and with Roland for music equipment like the Rhythm Composer and a keyboard. Other items include a disposable underwater camera, an incense and of course, skate decks.
